9. A raccoon. This little guy may not have been quite right in the head, or maybe he was just REALLY hungry. We stopped to have a bite to eat in our kayaks, and he showed up on the opposite bank, trying desperately to get to us. Someone tossed an apple which he didn't see. Maybe he's used to handouts.
