This animation shows a giant smoke ring at sunrise after the burn. Someone
about 5 blocks down on the Esplanade (we're guessing) would hold up a
nozzle spewing flames and a dark smoke in a circle. In this case the rolling
smoke ring emerged perfectly and then drifted away. I enjoyed seeing this,
but they probably used gasoline or diesel to create such sooty smoke,
and that couldn't have been good for the environment. But that's a topic
for another day.
Where are these photos from?: These
are photos I took at Burning
Man 2004 in Nevada (some photos were taken by Kevin too). |
