At one group's camp was this camera obscura, the first I've been able to see in person. Here's how they work: a generally round-ish structure is built, and a small hole is drilled in the side. Because of the size of the hole, as light passes through it the view outside is projected upside down on the circle of walls inside. While we were in this camera obscura, a water truck came by spraying down the roads (to keep dust down). As is typical at Burning Man, the truck was followed by a running naked fellow (in this case) trying to get cool.
